Houston Wesley Prior will capture an emotion, and an expression, like a photographer may reflect back to the viewer a depiction of what he or she titles the picture. Houston on the other hand can capture the moment along with emotion by applying colors in characteristic contrasts in meditative shapes. He takes this challenge further by adding to the contorting and at times, museful, shapes, deliberate complimentary ink, or brush designs.
